Bankhead Design were appointed to produce design options and detail  drawings for the construction of a new single storey rear extension to the existing detached property.  The Client wanted to create an open plan kitchen/dining area and utility room and to  to create a light and airy feel to the new extension so  we proposed an internal pitched roof with skylights. Large aluminium bi-fold doors were installed to the rear which opens up the space to the garden.Externally a small seating area with roof overhang was created. Black charred wood cladding has been used to clad the extension externally.
